Il numero uno del Milan Gerry Cardinale è stato ospite a “The Deal”, un podcast di Bloomberg e ha parlato di diversi temi del club rossonero. L’imprenditore americano si è soffermato in particolare sulla costruzione del nuovo stadio a San Donato. L’abbiamo detto tante volte, l’impianto che dovrebbe sorgere nell’area San Francesco, a sud-est di Milano, è una vera e propria priorità per il club di via Aldo Rossi, visto che rappresenterebbe grande punto di riferimento per la società.

Sarà il primo stadio costruito in Italia dal 2011. Sarà uno stadio sullo stile americano, con 70.000 posti a sedere. Porteremo la musica a Milano e costruiremo qualcosa. Cardinale si è poi soffermato sull’importanza del Milan a livello mondiale: “Il Milan è davvero uno dei club più importanti. Credo che sia uno dei primi quattro marchi a livello globale nel calcio. E ora, con l’abbattimento delle barriere grazie allo streaming c’è la possibilità di trasmettere queste partite negli Stati Uniti in diretta”.
