Rigettata in consiglio comunale la mozione che proponeva un referendum consultivo sul progetto del nuovo stadio del Milan…
Ormai è praticamente confermata l’ufficialità del nuovo stadio del Milan a San Donato Milanese, comune dell’hinterland di Milano a poco più di dieci minuti di metro dal Duomo. Secondo Il Cittadino, testata locale della zona, il consiglio comunale di San Donato avrebbe bocciato la proposta del capogruppo della Lega di indire un referendum consultivo in merito allo stadio che il club rossonero avrebbe intenzione di edificare nell’area San Francesco.
La mozione è stata sostenuta anche dai consiglieri del Partito Democratico e dal capogruppo di “Insieme per San Donato”, mentre la maggioranza votato contro questa istanza. Il gruppo di Fratelli di Italia si è invece astenuto.

Il sindaco Francesco Squeri ha fatto sapere in merito alla questione: “Io sono il sindaco di questa città e quindi ho il dovere di vedere il progetto in tutte le sue sfaccettature e poi insieme alla mia maggioranza si deciderà, coinvolgendo i cittadini, se lo stadio avrà più ricadute positive rispetto a quelle negative. Mi fa specie che chi è contro lo stadio non vuole parlare degli aspetti positivi, ma c’è anche gente che l’impianto lo vuole”.
